"Village in the Hills"

Home of the yearly Corn Maze, Danville is a small rural community located in northern Vermont. The people of Danville feel they have a strong connection to the land, and there's plenty of it, Danville nestles on almost 40-thousand acres of land and almost 180 acres of water. Danville was chartered in 1786 and is located in the Caledonia County. Danville is home to more women then men and the overall population in 2007 was 2,336 people. Danville is a quiet environment. In 2001 there was only one car accident in the town. Citizens want Danville to maintain the current small rural feeling, and will identify and encourage changes that will benefit the community overall.

Town Clerk: Wendy M. Somers
