NEK Waste Management District Budget Vote (WARNING)

The legal voters of the NEK Waste Management District or hereby notified and warned to vote, by AUSTRALIAN BALLOT, at the polling place and between the hours specified by their municipality on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 to act on the following article.

1. Shall the voters authorize the Northeast Kingdom Waste Management District to appropriate and expend the budget of $610,015.
   

School District Meeting (WARNING)

To be held on March 3, 2009.

The legal voters are to meet at the Danville School on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at 10:00am to transact the following...

1-To elect a moderator

2-To elect school directors:

• one school director for a three year term

• two school directors for terms lasting one year each

3-To see if the school district will authorize its Board of Directors to borrow money in order to pay its lawful debts and epenses for the fiscal year which is ending on June 30, 2010. This amount is not to exceed 90% of the anticipated collection of taxes and receipts of other funds that is allotted for these purposes

4-Shall the school district vote to adopt an expenditure budget as presented for school year ending in June 2010 including an appropriation of a sum of money for the support of schools with provisions for current expenses, capital improvements, a deficit if any, and for other lawful purposes

5-Transact any other non-binding businesses that may legally come before the meeting
